The evening brought together distinguished voices from India's armed forces and members of the Ladies Study Group for an evening of insight and inspiration.

Guests were welcomed by an energetic military band, setting the tone for the evening. President Enu Bala opened the session with a warm address. Major General DK Singh followed, speaking on global conflicts and the strategic importance of India's Northeast.

Eminent journalist Barkha Dutt then took the stage. She engaged Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa in a compelling conversation on India's military capabilities, global tensions, and Operation Sindoor. The evening concluded with a lively interactive Q&A session.

Bringing members together for its first networking session, the evening celebrated a shared sense of community. Set in the 100-year-old heritage villa of Raghuvillas in the heart of Jaipur, it began with a walkthrough of the artistic property, followed by engaging conversations over high tea.

At the heart of the evening was a transformative keynote by Tunvey Gogia, an executive coach and authenticity catalyst, who invited members on a journey inward — encouraging them to reconnect with their authentic selves beyond roles, routines, and expectations, and to rediscover the clarity and confidence to show up fully. The Ladies Study Group Delhi Chapter commenced its 2026–27 year with The Opening Act—an elegant and thoughtfully curated afternoon that marked the beginning of a new chapter.

Bringing together members old and new, the event set the tone for the year ahead—one rooted in meaningful exchange, shared learning, and a strong sense of community.

At the heart of the afternoon was a candid and engaging conversation with Vinita Jain, Founder & Chairperson of Biotique. Drawing from her journey of building one of India's most recognised Ayurvedic beauty brands, she spoke about entrepreneurship, legacy, and the delicate balance between tradition and innovation. Her reflections—both insightful and deeply personal—resonated strongly with the audience.

The event also marked the formal introduction of the incoming President, Pushpanjali N Chawla, who shared her vision for the year ahead—anchored in the idea of moving from individual potential to collective impact, with a focus on creating a more engaged, inclusive, and learning-driven community.

The afternoon concluded with an intimate high tea, allowing members to connect and continue conversations in a warm and relaxed setting.

The Ladies Study Group 60th year began in spectacular style on 6th April 2026 at Taj Bengal with “Legacy & Legend,” with the installation of the President 2026-27, Enu Johal Bala. The evening was anchored by a deeply engaging conversation with the legendary actor Shatrughan Sinha, in dialogue with theatre personality Juhi Babbar Soni. From evocative memories of his early cinematic journey to his candid reflections as a parliamentarian and his strong anti-tobacco advocacy, Shatrughan ji’s presence defined the evening.

The ceremony commenced with the traditional lamp lighting by Chairperson Ms. Preeti Goenka, followed by a specially curated 60th commemorative video tracing LSG’s remarkable legacy. The celebration culminated with a spirited performance the iconic singer Usha Uthup, marking a grand and unforgettable beginning to this milestone year.

Set against the cultural richness of Jaipur, with a strong vision anchored in knowledge and learning, Ladies Study Group continues to evolve.

The National Council, with an engaging audio visual presentation, introduced LSG and its commendable work over the years.

What followed was an enthusiastic exchange — with numerous questions from the curious and excited attendees. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive; the women of Nagpur were deeply impressed, eager to associate with LSG, and are now looking forward to the official launch.

Overall, a superb and heartening experience! We look forward to launching the chapter in February 2026.

The National Council introduced LSG through an engaging audio-visual presentation, followed by the felicitation of the first Chapter President, Sakshi Bhandari.

What followed was an enthusiastic exchange — with numerous questions from the curious and excited attendees. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive; the women of Nagpur were deeply impressed, eager to associate with LSG, and are now looking forward to the official launch.

The Ladies Study Group, President, Minnie Juneja, ended her term with grand finale where the ace fashion designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, was in conversation with entrepreneur, Pernia Quereshi. Sabyasachiwho wowed the audience with his depth of responses, his passion, his gratitude to the city and his upbringing.

He shared insights into his journey as a fashion house and brand, from its inception to its global status today, with industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla having picked up a 51% stake into the company. Sabyasachi spoke about how he has acquired both minimalism and maximalism from his two grandmothers and explained how individual style for him was more important than trends.

He was also very effusive in his optimism for India, not only as an economy and market but more so as a nation and civilisation.

Thoroughly grounded yet holding his own and shining as bright as his rose-tinted glasses, Sabyasachi Mukherjee won the audience’s heart as stylishly and effortlessly as his clothes have done for the last 25 years.

The 58th Annual General Meeting of the Ladies Study Group was held on Wednesday 12th March 2025. After her very successful tenure, President, Mrs Minnie Juneja welcomed Mrs Richa Agarwal as the President, Mrs Enu Bala as the Senior Vice President and Mrs Ritu Almal as Junior Vice President, for the year 2025-26.

We all look forward to another fulfilling year of learning and bonding.

Ladies Study Group has been recognised for its outstanding contributions to women’s empowerment & entrepreneurship.
