The Ladies Study Group (LSG) hosted the LSG Charitable Trust Annual Award Ceremony 2025 on 15 December at The LaLiT Great Eastern, Kolkata. The evening brought together members, guests and social leaders to recognize impactful work and encourage meaningful conversations around community development and responsibility.
The LSG Charitable Trust Annual Award 2025 was presented to Destiny Foundation, Kolkata, for its efforts in supporting survivors of human trafficking through education and rehabilitation initiatives. The event also featured a thought-provoking session by activist Shreegauri Sawant, who spoke about identity, inclusion and the need for a more compassionate and equitable society.
On stage, Shreegauri Sawant spoke with honesty and courage about identity, dignity, and what it truly means to be seen and understood. Her words challenged assumptions, opened hearts, and reminded us that change begins when we choose empathy over judgement.
