The Ladies Study Group marked the beginning of its 60th year in grand style on 6 April 2026 at Taj Bengal with “Legacy & Legend”, an evening that celebrated both heritage and new beginnings. The occasion also saw the installation of Enu Johal Bala as President for 2026–27.
The highlight of the evening was an engaging conversation with legendary actor Shatrughan Sinha, who was in dialogue with theatre personality Juhi Babbar Soni. From sharing memories of his early journey in cinema to speaking about his role as a parliamentarian and his strong stand against tobacco, Shatrughan ji brought warmth, honesty, and depth to the evening.
The ceremony began with the traditional lamp lighting by Chairperson Ms. Preeti Goenka, followed by a specially curated 60th commemorative video that beautifully traced the remarkable journey of LSG. The evening concluded on a high note with a spirited performance by the iconic singer Usha Uthup, making it a memorable start to this milestone year.
